Does IRS have my direct deposit information I file E-file on my return, I owe IRS but direct deposit from my state

    TurboTax will only collect direct deposit information if you are due a refund.

    Hi Michelle, I filed taxes past 2 years with turbotax via direct deposit and i got refund.

    My question is will my stimulus check be sent to me via direct deposit?

    Does it make difference i e-filed with you guys instead of IRS e-file?

    @Mrcookonuts Yes your stimulus payment will be sent using the direct deposit information from your 2019 tax return if you have filed, if not, your 2018 tax return.  It does not matter the platform you used to prepare your taxes.
