Robinhood has closed their personal banking system, but has allowed their brokerage account to remain open, in the time it took for my refund to be processed and accepted, since my refund is distributed by TurboTax how can I give my new banking information to them for redistribution of my refund?
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
If your refund deposit was rejected and you haven’t yet received a CP53E notice, you can still update your banking information now — but you must do it before the IRS issues the notice, or within the 30‑day window after it arrives.
Only one opportunity exists to update the account per CP53E notice; if the bank rejects the deposit, the IRS will issue a paper check .
The account must be in your name or a joint account for joint returns
Updating Bank Information either before CP53E Notice issued or within the 30-day window
Access your IRS Online Account to make the change. After updating, allow 2–5 days for the information to reflect online, and use the “Where’s My Refund” tool to track your refund status
if you have not established an IRS account, you'll have to create one using ID.ME
Even though TurboTax is responsible for distributing it and making sure I get it 5 days early?
