Direct deposit info not on Federal Return (filed and accepted)

It seems that Turbo Tax did not put in my bank routing and account numbers when I filed my Federal taxes.  I a assuming that the issue was that I was not getting a refund nor did I owe any taxes.  The numbers were put on my state return, again because I am assuming, that I was entitled to a state refund.  How do I correct this on my Federal return in order to get direct deposit of the stimulus payment?  I am out of the country at this time and cannot return to the USA until travel restrictions are lifted....

You cannot just add direct deposit information to a filed return.  The IRS would not get the banking information.  The IRS is going to give taxpayers the chance to enter their own banking information.  See the following:

The IRS does not have my direct deposit information. What can I do?

In the coming weeks, Treasury plans to develop a web-based portal for individuals to provide their banking information to the IRS online, so that individuals can receive payments immediately as opposed to checks in the mail.
