I just filed my 2019 taxes thinking I couldn't claim myself as dependent because I thought my parents would but they can't because I am too old. How do I fix my returns?

Your parents cannot claim you since you were over 23 and had over $4200 of income. If you already e-filed, you can amend after the return has been fully processed to say that no one else can claim you as a dependent.
How old were you at the end of 2019? Were you a full-time student in 2019? What was your income for 2019?
I turned 24 in September 2019. I was a part time graduate student also working. I made in excess of 30k last year. My father told me when he attempted to claim me he couldn't so I assume I could have claimed myself although I wonder why Turbotax didn't know that since they knew my age and amount of money I made. I would think when I selected someone else will claim me they would have told me they can't

That is what I thought. Thank you for your help
