If my direct deposit tax return first took out my tax fees will I need to update my direct deposit the the IRS?

Yes, your stimulus payment will be directly deposited into the bank account that the remainder of your refund was deposited onto after fees were withheld. You do not need to do anything else to receive your qualifying stimulus payment. Please view this IRS link and use the Get Your Payment application, available mid-April, to check the status of your stimulus payment.
