Covid-19 Stimulus payments

My 23 year old son moved out Jan 1, 2020 and returned to college. My wife and I claimed him as a dependent in 2019 and we are aware that he will not receive the $1200 Covid Stimulus. Our son will be claiming his own dependency on his 2020 tax return next year, is there anyway he can receive the $1200.00 stimulus payment this year? or will he have to wait to receive this stimulus money when he files his tax return next year?

No,  The stimulus check is based only on 2018, or 2019 tax returns.
