When will stimulus checks stop going out? I filed for 2019 through turbo tax, and I qualify in all other areas.. but on the IRS page when I go to “Get my payment”, it tells me that “we’re unable to determine if you’re eligible”. What does this mean? Is anyone else having this problem?

I’m wondering if it’s because I was claimed as a dependent in 2018? But in 2019, I filed as a non-dependent..

The IRS will be issuing stimulus payments throughout 2020.  Once they process your 2019 tax return, if you meet all of the requirements, they should issue you a stimulus payment.

Also, when you file your return in 2020, you will have the opportunity to report the amount of the stimulus check(s) you did receive, and if it was less than what you were entitled to, you will receive a credit on your tax return.

Do you have any idea how long it will take for the stimulus to be deposited if I filed for 2019, but not 2018 because I was 17 and claimed as a dependant? I know people who received their stimulus through direct deposit and some filed themselves, and some used TurboTax. I used TurboTax and I was expecting my check to show up in my bank account this past week. Please let me know, thanks.
