Correct completed 1040X

After realizing that I made an error on my submitted 1040, i used TurboTax to prepare a 1040X, which I did not file but saved. Now I need to edit an entry in that return but cannot. How do I prepare a new 1040X?

If you used the TurboTax online editions to amend the 2023 tax return, use this procedure to access the return -

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state. 

This will take you back to the 2023 online tax return.

I am using the desktop (purchased, stand-alone) version of Turbotax Premier. What do I do in that case?
