Confusing 2021 Amend Return Instructions (Mail or eFile)

I amended my 2021 return after filing due to missed 1099.

The instructions for the amended return from Turbo Tax was to print out the forms and mail in the 1040X and additional schedules. However, I was able to e-File the amended returns for both federal and state after that step where it provided the instructions to mail it in.

My question is, do I still have to mail in my amended return even though the amended return was accepted via e-File for both federal and state?

Since your amended returns were e-filed and accepted, you do not need to mail in the returns.  You should keep them for your records.
