After I submitted fed return, I received a text that said it was accepted by IRS and to check my email for a confirmation msg. After 2 days, no email has been received.  Not in junk either.  Now what??.

That is fine, you received the text message that is good. You can also log in to your Turbo Tax account to check the status of your return. 

How do I check my e-file status?

Once it's accepted, you will then continue to track it on the IRS website.

When you completed the FILE tab you could opt in for text messages instead of emails ... both delivery methods offer the same information.
