Changes remain on unsubmitted amended return even though I click cancel amend

I need to amend my 2023 tax return. I went into TurboTax and started making some of the changes. I then canceled out of it. However, when I start over and go to amend 2023 tax return it's saved all of those changes. I can't seem to get back to a clean version. When I log in and go to 2023 and click amend return I get the newer version where I've changed things. I went to tax tools and hit cancel amend. It goes through the process of looking as though it canceled but it hasn't. It's still recording the changes I made. How do I get a clean version?

To be clear, nothing has been refiled with the IRS. I just need the clean version from TT that don't include the changes I made an hour ago. I need it to look like I'm clicking amend return for the first time.
