Change filing status after return has been accepted but not processed

You cannot make changes to a return that already been transmitted.  Do Not make any changes to your filed return.  You will have to wait for now.  The amended form in TurboTax until 3/25/21 (subject to change).  The IRS needs to approve TurboTax's form before they can include the form in the software.  The IRS suggests you wait until your original return is fully processed before you amend a return.
