CARD PAYMENT

Paid TurboTax and IRS with my credit card this morning. Received confirmation for the TurboTax payment, system does not show any confirmation of pending payment to IRS. Once submitted showed the info with the convenience fee amount then the screen disappeared instantly. How can you tell if the payment is pending or if there was error in the process?
