You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
You have to sign onto your 2018 online account using the exact same user ID you used to create the 2018 online account.
Close all TurboTax windows on your web browser (including this one). Copy and paste the account recovery website link onto a new web browser window and run the tool.
Use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of all the user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery
If none of the user ID's received will access your 2018 account, then use the option shown in blue on the account recovery website, "Try something else"
If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
To access your prior year tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
I tried to access my files and had to change my password as I forgot the one I filed with. However, it still will not let me locate the return. I filed using my cell phone and not a computer.
This is a public web site and you have posted a ton of your personal contact information and order numbers, etc. to it where it can be seen by anyone including identity thieves and scammers who would love to contact you and pretend to be from TurboTax or use your information for nefarious purposes.
Please return to your post ASAP and click those three little blue dots on the upper right to edit out your personal information!

Have tried your suggestion and it does not work. You need to provide support for your product. Will input all the missing data and will find another option for next year. File cabinet has over ten years worth of turbotax data this will be the last time it is used.

What does not work?
Did none of the User ID's recovered when you used the account recovery website show any of your online tax returns/ - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery
Did you try all your email addresses?
If the account recovery website did not find your User ID for the online account, then what happens when you clicked on the blue link on the account recovery website, "Try something else" and entered all of your personal information?
TurboTax maintains online tax returns for 7 years just like the IRS holds tax return for 7 years.
If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
