Cannot E-file 2021 return due to 2020 Return

I can't e-file my 2021 return due to my 2020 return not being on file.  I sent it by male in February of 2021and have received no word from the IRS.  I have been given the "covid wait" excuse and it has been over a year now. My 2021 return was rejected due to "incorrect AGI" and "AGI not found on record could not prove your identity".  I am owed over $6,000 now and am unable to receive it.

You do not have to wait for your 2020 return to be processed.  If your 2020 AGI is not in the system you can just try using zero as the AGI so that you can e-file 2021.   If zero will not work then you can print, sign and mail your 2021 return.
