I need to cancel my taxes I have someone else doing them and I don’t want both to be at the irs

Sadly you can’t cancel your returns if you’ve already filed them. Like it says before you hit ‘transmit’.. it’s like dropping them in the mailbox. You can’t un-send it. I do believe you can amend them, but you’re going to wait longer on your taxes.

If you e-filed from TT and e-filed from somewhere else, the first one “accepted” is the one the IRS will process. The other one will be rejected automatically. No telling which one will be pulled from the server first.

i didn't submit any thing, though. It said to register with turbo tax, nothing about filing

@Lisahop215 If you e-filed you cannot cancel.  Did you e-file?

As long as you haven't submitted payment, deducted the TurboTax fee from your refund, or registered, you can erase your return and start from scratch in TurboTax Online.

TurboTax online accounts cannot be deleted or cancelled.

I have not filed them.  I started them on line and paid the fee of 63.96. I am having someone else do them. I want my money ack from turbo

You will have to contact TurboTax support to discuss a refund.  Use the words Billing Issue

I have not filed them. They are incomplete.  I need to have them done with the cpa to include the business.I need you to refund the money I paid you to do them which you did not do.
