Can you help? I received a refund from Arizona in 2023 that I had asked be applied to 2022 taxes. How to I report this refund on my 2023 return?

Enter the refund in the "Wages & Income" section using the "Other Common Income" dropdown menu to find the "State Tax Refund" topic.  Once you enter the refund information you will arrive at a page titled "Did any of these apply to you?". There you can select "I applied some or all of the 2022 refund to 2023 estimated taxes".  The next page is where you can enter the amount.  

This will in turn reduce your 2023 state taxes.
