Unfortunately this does not solve the problem for printing a maryland tax  return.  there is no trouble with the federal return by itself.  whatever route one choose, either through the file menu or at the 'saving  a return  for your records' step, the program simply crashes.    I am  using the cd version and have installed the latest updates.

If you tried all the troubleshooting steps provided in the thread have and already checked for updates as mentioned, you may try uninstalling and reinstalling the software. The steps for doing so can be found below @theodorw.

thanks.  I had already tried that before the recent round of updates.  if I reinstall now, will all the updates automatically appear?

hi, I followed the procedure you outlined.  the program still has no trouble printing the federal return but crashes when I try to print the state return.  do you think my disc could be defective?  should I go through the procedure again and try downloading?

this is not correct.  the maryland forms are ready.

I have a mac.  

I followed the instructions from Ebony A to  remove and reinstall TurboTax for Mac'

one new update was installed.  checking  for updates indicates I'm up to date.
