I can't print from my Mac. I am not alone. A ton of other people have been complaining about this for a while here. There are workarounds, but they are SO involved (you have to choose file-Preview, and then you can't even hit the "download" icon. You have to open it in preview and then save it to your machine so that you can print the **bleep** thing. And that doesn't even work for everyone.
Is there any update from Intuit on when they are going to fix this incredibly basic bug? I just want to print my damned return. I don't want an un-password protected copy to live on my machine (deleting files on an SSD still leaves them behind - nothing is ever properly deleted on an SSD).
This is just another example of Intuit trying to squeeze more money out of the taxpaying public. First they spend millions to buy congress so that you are forced to do your taxes yourself instead of the government just sending you pre-filled out forms like most other advanced countries already do. Then they cripple the "free" filing option to the point that it forces non-technical people into filing electronically and sending Intuit more money beyond the cash they have already paid just to purchase the program.
When is Intuit going to spend some of the money they steal from us to actually fix this **bleep** bug that any first year CS student would have both discovered and fixed by now?
