Can I send my taxes the same time my daughter sends her amendment?

My daughter claimed herself, now e file won't let me claim her. So now we have to amend her taxes and will be sending them on Monday. Can I send mine the same day, stating I'm claiming her or do I need to request an extension?

Yes, you can mail both tax returns at the same time. Your tax return will be processed while the amended tax return is processing.
