Can I just manually make an adjustment to my 1099- Div Worksheet?

I'm already done with my taxes (not filed yet), and I received a corrected 1099 Div Worksheet (Capital Gains section needs to be increased.) It is an odd stock that pays dividends as Capital Gains. So, no cost basis issues to deal with. Can I go to the 1099-Div Worksheet in Turbo Tax and just delete the amount listed and increase it to the new amount? I don't want to important everything again and then have to start all my work over again. Thank you.

You may make that change.  Just make sure that no other dollar amounts need to be changed.

Retain all your paperwork should a tax authority have a question at a later time.
