Can I get my refund into my friend's bank account as I don't have a valid bank account and an option to get it via paper check?

You should just have the IRS mail you a check if you do not have an account of your own.  Having it sent to someone else's account is a bad idea.  The bank is very likely to refuse the deposit, send it back to the IRS and then you would have to wait for a few extra weeks for the IRS to mail a check to you.
