Can I file for an amendment on my 2020 federal taxes, they were rejected for filing as a independent but i forgot i was a dependent in 2020

I filed as independent on my 2020 federal tax return, and it has been rejected three times because i was a dependent in 2020 and made a mistake. How do i fix?

Go to My Info and change your answer when it asks if you can be claimed as someone else's dependent.

Claimed my boyfriend as dependent on accident then he couldn’t file his taxes,I filed for amend federal tax return, paid money back. So why can’t he do his taxes still?
