Each tax year is unique, so very little from the 2023 tax return can be entered on the 2024 tax return. If you had certain types of carryovers those can be entered on the 2024 return. Such as Home Energy Credit carryovers, Capital Loss Carryovers and itemized deduction Charitable Donation carryovers.
You can't enter your entire 2023 tax return from the outside preparer into TurboTax for 2024, but there is no need to do that. Just start your 2024 tax return in TurboTax and enter your 2024 information manually. If TurboTax needs information from 2023 it will ask for it, and you can enter it manually from your copy of your 2023 tax return.
