If you have already filed, you cannot cancel it.

You cannot delete the account. However, you can clear the information.

In TurboTax Online, you can do just that with the Clear & Start Over feature as long as you haven't paid or registered yet.

  1. Sign in to TurboTax Online and open your return by clicking the orange Take me to my return button.
  2. From the My Account dropdown menu, select Clear & Start Over.
  3. Answer Yes to Are you sure you want to clear your return?
  4. After your entries have been cleared out, we'll prompt you to select a TurboTax product so you can start over from the very beginning.

Sorry about that.  I was finishing up my taxes yesterday, and it showed I owe a couple hundred, so I was entering my debit card info, because I thought I was paying what I owed, instead it charged me $110 to file.  I didn't continue and hit the 'file' button, but it said my payment went through, is there a way to back out of it?  I have no idea why it is charging me, I haven't had to pay in the past.....   I'm a little upset over that.
