I like knowing that I can have a positive impact even when I’m at my worst. Like how TurboTax uses predatory practices to force money from its users in such a shady, impossible to track fashion, shares unnecessary information to increase their $B profits, and can’t even have the decency to pretend to have a good avenue to ask for a refund for wrongful charges. They’ll let you go through a whole thing, and then send you a single email. If you try to pull it up later using their instructions they either tell you that your request doesn’t exist, but if you want them to look more they might be able to find it if you input your debit card or bank information. Considering I initiated the process from their actual online tax return software, and subsequently have been able to verify that these do come from this company, I have no reason to doubt their validity 

 

And may I just say that even though I just got out of the hospital seizure clusters and my family and I are terrified at how we’re going to keep affording to live, knowing that I was able to make the lives of a few people better by falling victim to Intuit’s tactics might make it a little worth it. 

but seriously for ticks sake can I at least get some real help? This is getting obscene. I don’t even want to call this software evil, but it’s designed with a purpose to help consumers while literally using borderline illegal tactic to bleed them dry while further profiting off of their data. What the **bleep** do I have to do get someone from there to answer a support request about this **bleep** from something like 11 days ago?

We are sorry that you are having health issues.    This is a user forum---questions are mostly answered by volunteers who undertstand how the software works and who understand the tax laws and how the system works.      We have no access to your tax return or your information.   You have not given any specific information here about the problem you are having so we do not know how to help.   Please explain---without any of your personal contact information, etc.   What is the problem?   Are you having trouble preparing or filing your tax return?   Or is there a problem with  a return you have already filed?

Volunteers? Why would you volunteer for them? They don’t need it. They could afford to pay you if they saw real worth in your work. 

I’m wondering why I can’t find the status of a service request without providing TT with my credit and bank info. This is literally the only avenue that’s responded in almost three weeks, and I’m just still having a hard time with wrapping my head around the idea that they’ve got volunteers instead of employees or paid contractors as responders on here. I don’t think I understand enough about this company or software anymore or the way this works. I’m sorry. Clearly this isn’t the right avenue. I don’t know what I expected but it wasn’t to find out that their only responsive avenue is handled mostly by people they trust enough to provide answers, but don’t respect enough to offer compensation to. 

I’m sorry and I think it’s best for me to try another avenue.

In other words TurboTax cannot help with taxes being delivered late, longer than what was supposed to be expected is what I'm going through at the moment. Is there any way to receive my taxes as soon as possible if I'm having emergencies. Please respond when available.
