Been a week…state return is still “Pending”

Help!

I’ve been filing my taxes electronically for years and each time my state returns have been accepted within a day or so.

This time it’s now been 7 days since I filed and I’ve heard absolutely nothing. Do I just keep waiting? At what point is this an indication of a problem?

What state? Some states are very slow. Some people have reported that New Jersey is taking as much as a few weeks to accept returns. Georgia sent a notice to tax software companies saying that they are experiencing delays. Other states could be very slow as well.

Georgia. So is the correct answer to just wait and eventually they’ll accept it?
