Is Tax Act 152 the same as the path act message?

All I know is, my cycle date is 20170405, processing date of 02-13-2017. Now I used TurboTax Premier and had the funds taken from my refund. As of 02/17/2016 at 9:17am CST, my WMR still says we have received your return and are processing it. From what I know, and heard from a reliable source, if you are a DAILY updater, you will have gotten your Refund DDD by now. If you are a WEEKLY, your DDD will be appearing tonight after WMR updates. For those of you that don't know how to tell, DAILY updaters get updates DAILY. But if you ever had a IP Pin or any other security risk against you in the past, or changed SSN or ITIN numbers, your automatically pushed a to WEEKLY. If you never had a problem receiving your refund in the past, you should be a DAILY. I had my identity stolen a few years back, so I get a IP Pin every year. But yeah. I hope this helps those that are worrying about their refunds. If you don't get an update by tomorrow, then it would be a good idea to call the IRS and find out what's up.

UPDATE.... I have been on this thread and in the same boat as all of you. Just wanted to share that I spoke with an IRS rep this morning and she advised me that my refund has been approved for 2/23. I filed 1/31 and was accepted 1/31. I DO NOT HAVE ANY BARS ON MY SCREEN AT THIS MOMENT AND I ONLY HAVE A MESSAGE THAT SAYS "WE HAVE RECEIVED YOUR REFUND AND IT IS BEING PROCESSED" So, with that being said... don't always rely on IRS.gov WMR website to give you the most current up-to-date info about your refund.

**** Also, I filed EIC and ATC and filed T-1098 form for my educational expenses as I'm a full time student as well.

The irs is so strange my mom filed on 2/14 and was approved today she has eic and her bars went away after the first day.  I filed on 2/4 and still on first bar processing.

@cwaters1822 Did you use TurboTax free? Or the paid edition? Did you have fees taken out of refund? Also. What is your cycle date and processing date? One more thing, was all of your personal info the same as on your last years return or did you have a IP Pin? Sorry for all the questions. I'm trying to look into this DAILY WEEKLY thing.

@wilemonhunter I started to do the Free edition but changed my mind and paid for the "plus edition" because of all the mess this year going on with this crappy PATH ACT law I didn't want any issues with my refund in case of errors.

@wilemonhunter Yeah Turbo Tax deducted the fees from my refund. Also, this was my first time ever filing with Turbo Tax and doing my taxes myself so I definitely didn't want any issues. Don't really understand what you mean by security measures. However, like I said I didn't want any issues because I had a feeling this tax year was going to be stressful with the new PATH ACT law and everyone who's claiming EIC & ATC credits were going to be thoroughly checked

@wilemonhunter Oh I see. No, I don't have a pin. And I'm sorry to hear that happened to you. Honestly, if people wasn't stealing people's identity and doing drops and fraudulent activity around tax season NONE OF US would be going through this right now! There wouldn't even be a PATH ACT in place smh. It's sad. Because now we're all suffering for something other people did. I wish you luck and if you haven't done so call the IRS and check your status so you'll have some peace of mind. Good luck

I too am weekly and I have a pin also I filed 1/12 and no update here but I got my transcript and have cycle date 20170405 so hope to see one for tomorrow
