Are refunds delayed this year?
Are 2023 refunds delayed?
Delay in refunds can happen any year. Some refunds are a little delayed but if you have EIC/ACTC in your return, there is a delay. The IRS expects most EITC/ACTC related refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or on debit cards by Feb. 28 if they chose direct deposit and there are no other issues with their tax return.
