Approaching 9 weeks since Return was accepted

I waited three weeks after the e-file was sent via turbotax, I called my local IRS office in Sacramento, they said there was a admin error with the e-file and it was sent to the errors department. They didnt say what exactly happened except the efile that was sent was corrupted, but after looking over my return there wasnt any mistakes. However they said all e-file that go to errors department will take 4-6 weeks to process, I asked if they could send documentation of the error and they said no. They told me if I dont get my refund or if the wheres my refund status isnt updated on March 27 to give them a call, however the local IRS offices are closed due to COVID19, and the main line said the call volume is to high and it ended my call. Since the origin of the error was from TurboTax e-file can I get some time of reimbursement or compensation since its taken so long?

The error found by the IRS will be explained in writing by the IRS. They will send you a letter in the mail. We are unable to issue reimbursements over the online community forum. The IRS is still working to "process tax returns, issue refunds and help taxpayers to the greatest extent possible." Please refer to the following link for an update on what's happening.

At this point would it be easier to cancel the file and refile?  I'd rather wait an additional 3 weeks than just be waiting with no estimated time. It's been 11 weeks since the return was accepted

Here is information about cancelling a return that has been e-filed.

Can I cancel an e-filed return?
