A month ago my refund was shown me 1541 status now it says We have received your tax return and it is being processed.what does this means?

@thericandeacon it depends if you qualify for a hardship. Because I did she was suppose to be faster on getting my return processed and issued to me but then they wanted to do an examination to see if I really am suppose to get the EITC and the child tax credit. I’m still waiting.

I'm. Currently on hold with an advocate I talked to someone they were transferring me to the intake advocate. I've been on hold for 90 minutes.

Well I finally have a praise report. After this horrific ordeal, my TAS stated the the IRS accepted my information and made the adjustment to match my amended return and it has been released. Should get return very soon

I call them everyday so the process has been moving .My TA knows my voice that’s how much I call. I hope to hear some good news Tomorrow

My review is up tomorrow and I’ve received nothing. You can bet I’ll be calling again tomorrow. If I can’t get anywhere, I’ll try the tax advocate again. I couldn’t get one before because I wasn’t in hardship but this is absolutely ridiculous!!!

My review was up on April 30. Called on Friday was told she could not see why I haven't received my refund. So, she sent an email to release my refund or send me document as to why it's being held. Unfortunately they have up to 60 days to respond so I'm waiting once again. Keep in mind I filed and was accepted Jan.28 which was 96 days ago. Patient is all I can be....

@thericandeacon @hildamonje I agree. I've never had issues in my 25+ yrs of filing so hopefully this will be the last for another 25. I'll continue to update. Sending good vibes for a fast deposit to all of us that are still waiting

I finally got a hold of a tax advocate. She said one of my employers never sent my W-2 to the IRS so I had 3000 of income they couldn't verify. I have to send pay check stubs and could still take 6 weeks. So around June 20th for me she said. She also said the IRS and tax advocates are still very behind and back logged.
