Wh did I received a 4883C Letter from the IRS?

I verified in person on 2/22, and WMR still says it's still being processed. Hoping it don't take the 9 weeks.

Verified 4883c letter over the phone on  2/23 still processing. Hasn’t changed for about 3 weeks same message. They told me now the waiting game begins.

Mine just changed to
We have received your tax return and it is being processed.
So I am guessing this is a good thing ! Fingers crossed!!!!

@jodipipkins91 mine just changed to we have received your tax return and it is being processed. When I verified the lady said you should see a status update at between a week/half. She also said returns have been coming back in 2 weeks. Fingers crossed that is the case here!

@angelarenee1118 I verified 02/20 and mine still says it’s still processing with the gold code 570 on my transcript. I hope to get an update tomorrow or Saturday.
