Ammending my 2022 return

If im understanding turbo tax correctly, to Ammend a 2022 tax return, a tax return i filed with a smart phone, i know have to have Windows PC to Amend a return that was said and thought would be able to amend  this return using the same equipment and programs i was using to originally file my return? How is this a advertised offered service if i have to go buy a $250 Laptop to add a dependent to my return. If im understanding this correctly i never had a chance to ammend a return on my phone. Is this correct? or am i way off? and if i do have to get a computer im mad im going to have to hunt other computers to ammend my return. I will do it on paper myself. Why cant you just let me apply the update and i can print it and fill the 1040x myself. Why cant i simply correct and print the new return on the same 2022 soft? Why is that too difficult to allow?

If you want to make changes or add a document to a tax return that has already been submitted, you should follow these guidelines. 

• You must first wait until the initial return is completely processed. 
• You will have to use the same TurboTax account that you used for the original tax return. 
• Once you begin your amendment, you'll see your original return.  
• The refund calculator will start new at $0 and only reflect the changes in the refund or tax due 
• Only make changes to the areas of your return that need amending. 
• You have three years from the date you filed your return or two years after you paid the tax due (whichever is later) to file an amendment
