once you completed amending your taxes do you print the documents and personally mail the documents???

Only you as the taxpayer can print, sign, date and mail the amended tax return to the IRS.

Yes. Amended returns can only be mailed not efiled. Mail federal and state in separate envelopes. If you are mailing more than 1 year, mail each year in a separate envelope.
