Amendment software for 2017 - MAC

I need to amend a 2017 tax return (I used TurboTax Online for the original return) but cannot locate the amendment software for Mac - can you please provide the link or instructions on how to access?

You can still amend a 2017 Online return using the Online version.  You don’t need to install the software.

And unless you have another Mac you won’t be able to install the Mac software on your computer.  You need OS 10.11 or higher.

I need to manually override a form which I understand can’t be done with the online version so assuming that is true I need to download the software.

What do you need to override?  Maybe it can be done in the Online version.

Amended returns can only be mailed.  It is suggested that it be mailed certified with return receipt (or other tracking service) to verify that the IRS receives it.

You can check the status of the amended return here, but allow 3 weeks after mailing.
