Amended Return with Auto Draft Pending

I needed to amend my 2020 taxes. I amended and it said I needed to print and send in form 1049-V Payment Voucher. It looks like voucher is for adjusted taxes due to IRS. I have a pending IRS auto draft for the original amount coming due April 13th. Did this amended return nullify the original auto draft?

No, the original should be processed first, including any tax paid or refund received. 

An amended return starts where the original left off, so if there is a scheduled payment, that payment will still be processed. If the amended return shows tax due, that will be ADDITIONAL tax due.
