My amended return was adjusted and a refund was sent. Yet it never showed a completed status and has been completely removed from the IRS tool???
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
If you got the refund then ignore the often inaccurate WMAR? tool.
You can also review your tax account online : https://www.irs.gov/payments/your-online-account
Your return status is only maintained for this year and last year.
I thought it has to get a completed status... or they can still ask questions or make changes.
Also, I did not get a letter explaining the adjustment as a re fund ..
This is on my amened return for 2017 amended 2019...

When the irs says they adjusted your return it means they processed and completed the Amended return and Adjusted the original return. So it's done. Did you get the amended refund?
Yep...
Had to amended another year got a notice paid balance. 2 was later...checked ors transcript and a refund will be sent Jan. 10th...
Amended another and don't know how much I owe...
Checked on web and after I got a refund it was completely removed..a week after refund payment . I am confused I never got a letter ... I never changed to a completed status?
My sis got a refund and then a letter that she owed?
So they may still have further questions until it is completed???
Just wondering and concerned .
Oh by the way..
I called the live person steps and now it didn't prompt other questions. ... threw me into an automated system ....
