Amended return error

I get an error message when trying to file an amended return. "Tax Year 2024 transmissions are not available".

I called the IRS and they have accepted my original return.

Are you also trying to e-file an amended state tax return? If so, in the file section of the program you can indicate that you do not want to e-file the state return at this time. So you will only e-file the federal amended return.

See if this corrects your problem with the e-filing.
