Amended return closed

I just got off the phone with the irs and she said it was closed but still waiting for adjustment? What does that mean? Turbo tax said I should be getting 3,000 back but I’m getting worried

It simply means that the amended return is being processed and will take more time to complete. Amended returns typically take 16 weeks or more to process and have a refund sent so all you can do is wait patiently.

if no refund receive after 20 weeks, contact them again or the IRS tax advocate in your state.
