Amended return 2020 still have not heard news after 11 months

I filed my Amended return in April of 2020. Today is March 31 2022 So roughly 11 months and the IRS nor the Tax Advocate services keep telling me they can't help me and to wait. I made an appointment to talk to the IRS office in my city and they canceled it 30 mins before and wouldn't let me reschedule. I'm at a loss on what to do at this point. ANy suggestions
