amended 2021 taxes

so my 2021 amended federal tax return was accepted about a week ago. turbo tax efiled the amendment, thank God. after it was accepted how long should i anticipate waiting for the paper refund check to be issued?

The IRS is saying that it is currently taking 20 weeks or more to process amended returns.

"Accepted" doesn't mean that they agree with the changes or that they will pay the refund. It just means the amended return is ready to go into the queue to be processed.
