Did you file a 2018 or 2019 tax return? If so, you would be eligible for the stimulus payment unless you fall into one of the situations:
1. You indicated on your tax return that you could be claimed as a dependent by someone else.
2. You owe back child support.
3. Your adjusted gross income exceeds the maximum limit for your filing status.
If you filed and entered direct deposit information on your tax return and DID NOT have TurboTax fees paid by your federal refund and did not owe taxes, then the IRS should have your direct deposit information. If it does not have direct deposit information, then you should receive a paper check.
If you are not required to file a tax return and didn't file and do not get social security payments of any kind, then you will have to register to get the payment using the IRS portal: https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment
You can also use that portal to check the status. The status may not be shown yet especially if you are getting a paper check.
