Say mailing refund when was supposed to be direct deposits

SamSnoggin... Really sorry to hear as I feel your pain. I got my check and in no better place than you as it is just sitting in my account there to see but unable to touch until Friday. I did file a complaint with the CFPB and will hold these jokers accountable as my checkbook shows clearly TD BANK USA and nowhere does it say WE ARE NOT A BANK .... RATHER A BROKERAGE FIRM!

So...Well Fargo would not let me do mobile...so, had to overnight the check to Portland..$25.80...this is why I asked for DD to start with.  Never do in house banking, so never changed my bank when we moved to OH.
So, from what I saw above...this IS a TT issue...?  Just strange that State was fine and deposited ok.

I’m curious as to those who got their refund but the informed delivery showed it wasn’t arriving...does your informed delivery work otherwise? Mine only shows one piece of mail for our house today. So did yours show no mail and your refund came or did you have scanned mail just not the refund? I just want it to come so I can stop worrying/obsessing. This is EXACTLY why I have chosen DD for almost 15 years...

Samsnoggin mine showed no mail but I did get my check as well as other mail on Monday.  It could be because I signed up the Friday before.  Hopefully it comes soon.

Some good news here... I went on LinkedIn and looked for anyone I was connected to that had someone connected at TD Ameritrade. I found a Vice President of Banking who was a 3rd person contact and they accepted my invite. I told them what was happening and how I filed a complaint with CFPB etc... An hour later I got a call from the guy from yday saying he had released the funds! FINALLY I AM ABLE TO USE MY MONEY $$$$ Best of luck to all of you in similar predicament. Let's communicate on here as we complain to TT about the DD not happening. I logged in today to TT and it says my refund is still pending but should be deposited by February 6th. HA HA HA I hit taxpayer.sbtpg.com and they are still showing my expected amount... If I had the energy I would call TT and play dumb but I am gonna take a break from all this after 2 months of hell!

I used Tax Slayer this year and have the same issue signed up for DD return was for over 10K was never and issue in the past WMR is saying mailed on March 6th

I finally checked USPS informed delivery yesterday and my IRS envelope was scanned! My mail date was March 4th so 3 days not bad. I ran to get my mail and received all but that refund! I freaked out and called the post office. They said sometimes, even though scanned, it may not come that day but the next. Atleast I know it's coming but this whole tax season is BS! Plus I'm in Illinois so that refund wont come until mid March. They stated none will be released until then. Illinois sucks too!

My drama continues....overnighted the check to Wells...on the 6th...still have not been received by the back...says envelope is sitting in a Hub in Portland...I still want to know why this fed check was not DD

Finally got notified by the usps i had mail to be delivered from the IRS. We to had DD set up but for some reason the IRS said it would be mailed. The USPS is showing two separate pieces of mail, one in mine and one in my husbands name. Did any of you encounter this same thing filing jointly?

If it’s a letter with the IRS logo on it, it’s not your refund. Checks will be in an envelope marked as Department of the Treasury. More than likely your return has an error on it if your getting two letters.

Definitely the refund. Says us dept of treasury Pennsylvania blah blah and even looks like a check type paper thru the view plastic. I hate that non important items in the mail come certified and such but a refund check of 10k + or a social security card can come normal mail, easy to steal.
