My return was not accepted by the IRS and yet it was approved by the Fed Review.  We had a tax credit issue of $30.00 so instead of the credit I opted to take it on standard deductions.   Now I owe a bit more tax so what do I do now???????

You are confusing several things.  A $30 tax credit (which is a direct subtraction from taxes due) has nothing to do with the Standard deduction (which is a subtraction from income, before the taxes are calculated).

return was not accepted by the IRS

Accepted means received for processing by the IRS.  It does not mean Approved, which is a later step.

and yet it was approved by the Fed Review

Do you mean the Turbotax Federal review?  That is just a general check for things like inconsistencies. TT does not and cannot Approve the amount of your refund; only the IRS can.

Given all that, it's not clear what you are asking. Did the IRS accept your return for processing, but then deny or change the amount of your refund?  Or was you efile rejected for processing?  And what $30 credit do you mean?

Let me start again....... I was rejected because I took a $6 tax credit for foreign taxes.   I paid with a CC $297 on 1st submission, before rejection.  I went back in and deleted the $6 credit for foreign taxes (a credit) and then resubmitted.  It was accepted.   Now my Fed Tax went from $297 to $303.  My question is how do I pay that?

Wait until the IRS sends you a bill for the difference of $6 - they'll include a payment voucher and self-addressed envelope for your convenience.

(Considering the amount involved, you may not even get a bill from them. If you do, it will likely come much later in the year).
