I realized I accidently claimed ineligible defendant right after I e-filed. I promptly removed ineligible daughter right after federal return was accepted, but state return hasn't been accepted yet at that time. Because my daughter have to claim separately. The content was amended correctly in 1040 form, but 1040X was not created to e-file again. Both federal and state return were accepted in the next day, so I've tried again, but 1040X hasn't still been created yet so that I can't e-file 1040X at this time. I assume there might be something wrong with turbo tax or others. How can I resolve this issue? Please help.

Okay---you cannot "amend" your return by going in and making changes right after you e-file it. All you just did was mess up your return. Change it back to the way it looked when you e-filed it. Then read below:
You cannot change or add anything on the return that you just e-filed, nor can you stop it. It is too late, just like when you put an envelope in a US mailbox on the corner.
If you left out a W-2, a 1099G, or a dependent, or a 1099 etc…DO NOT change your return while it is “pending.” The changes will go nowhere.
Now you have to wait until the IRS either rejects or accepts your return. If your return is rejected, you will be able to go into your account and make the necessary changes to your tax return and re-submit your return.
If the IRS accepts your return, however, then you have to wait longer until it has been fully processed and you have received your refund. THEN you can prepare an amended tax return and e-file or mail it in. You have to be able to work from that return exactly the way it was when it was e-filed originally. You will need to use a form called a 1040X.
Meanwhile, DO NOT go in and start changing anything on your return in the system, or you will make a mess for yourself. Sit tight and wait until you see what the IRS does with the return you just e-filed
The 2020 Form 1040X does not become available until the end of March 2021 (subject to change).
If you claimed someone you should not have claimed, and your return gets accepted, then that person cannot e-file a tax return this year. Their e-file will be rejected. The only way they can file this year is to print, sign and mail their own return. When you claimed her, you put her SSN into the system and it will be there for the rest of the year now, so even if you amend they cannot e-file. Better give them an alert so they know.
