I have e-filed my return but they have not yet been accepted how can I get back into them to add my personal identification PIN

Once file you cannot change anything unless rejected by the IRS when  they open on Feb 12.

You can't.   You cannot change anything when your return is in pending after e-filing it.   The IRS will start to accept/reject returns on February 12.   If it rejects you can add the PIN at that time and re-file.
