Accepted by irs

i received an email today saying my return was accepted but as far as i know irs isnt accepting returns until 01.28.19, has anyone else received an email stating the same?

No worries, the IRS typically starts taking small amounts of stockpiled test returns prior to the official start date. Please note that your tax refund (if any) will not be processed until after January 28th. To learn more please review the Tax Year 2018 Calendar.
