acceptance once efiled

I have submitted my taxes by e-file, and the IRS has not accepted them yet. It has been 24 hours, and what could be taking so long?

That is not unusual. If it doesn't say Pending. That means the IRS has it. They work on them as they come in. Be patient, you should know soon.
