I receieved letter from irs letter 4883c . verify identity. i called and all went good. now they say up to 9 weeks before i get return ?

I to have a ddd of 3/1 am I understanding that some people with netspend card already received their money? I have a netspend and no deposit yet, I received my state refund already so I know the routing and acct are correct. Any thoughts? should I be concerned? If I have a DDD date and offset phone number tells me I have no non tax offsets then I should get the refund, right?

I verified on the 17th no update on wmr have called IRS twice to make sure everything OK they say I'm good was finally able to order transcripts Friday but still no update on wmr still says received and processing if I can order both transcripts I'm good right

yea I have rush card(MISTAKE) never again they advertise you'll get your refund 2 days early LIES they tell... and because my refund exceeds the 9,999.99 I am required to send in a copy of my refund i.d and social to their fax and this process takes up to 48 hours.. also i was told they will hold the refund for 72 hours then release it after your DDD date/

Natashamartinez3 I'm in the exact same boat as you. I called today(monday) and they told me to check,for an update today (tuesday) or tomorrow (wednesday), I have no offsets and I was told the system,randomly chooses which taxpayers to update first and all is good with my refund and my return. We should know,something soon. Especially since I too ordered both transcripts. Praying for a miracle at the moment. Hope they come sooner than later.

Me to I was able to order both transcripts on Friday but still no update people are saying that with the netspend card the money is just being deposited with no update to where's my refund so I hope its soon

I recommend to everyone that has verified to call back a few days later after ordering transcripts. Had i not called back i would have waited 9 weeks to then be told they need to verify something else. Because I called back they admitted to having people wait the 9 weeks just to issue another letter for further review. When i called and said my transcripts were complete the lady had no choice but to tell me they flagged me for something else which makes them issue that letter with yesterday's date. Now they have 60 days from yesterday instead of 60 days from 9 weeks from now.

Thank you brownbb88 & @totallymarie. It was posted to sbp. Bank this morning just waiting on serve card. The wait is almost over . This has been a stressful tax year to say the least.

Just got off the phone with IRS... they said everything I have is verified.. verified on 2/13 and the lady said they cannot release the funds for 9 weeks... I don't know if this is accurate or not but she pretty much told me I have to wait 9 weeks guaranteed...so if you haven't gotten your return after verifying after 2 weeks you're pretty much at the mercy of the waiting game
