on where's refund page it has said "Processing", and the phone line [phone number removed] just dumps you after telling you "still processing." What if anything can I do besides wait (already done quite a bit of that hahah). The appointment line just dumps you too 800-545-xxxx (Taxpayer Assistance Center). Weird I got my state refund within 14 days of filing (3/20/2022).

@Al_End - just continue to have patience. the IRS is woefully backlogged. this is from the IRS website:

Tax returns are opened and processed in the order received. As the return is processed, whether it was filed electronically or on paper, it may be delayed because it has a mistake including errors concerning the Recovery Rebate Credit and the Child Tax Credit, is missing information, or there is suspected identity theft or fraud. If we can fix it without contacting you, we will. If we need more information or need you to verify that it was you who sent the tax return, we will write you a letter. The resolution of these issues could take more than 120 days depending on how quickly and accurately you respond, and the ability of IRS staff trained and working under social distancing requirements to complete the processing of your return.
What you should do: In most instances, no further action is needed but you may check Where’s My Refund? or you can view your account. If you filed electronically and received an acknowledgement, you do not need to take any further action other than promptly responding to any requests for information. Yeah, except ... it was e-filed and I have no indication of it being audited.
@Al_End - did you review the transctipt to see if anything is amiss? also, what I posted above states the IRS is only confirming that have completed tax returns PRIOR TO JANUARY that are error free; that suggests there is an issue with your return.

This is a transcript of TurboTax? or some sort of transaction log at IRS. I read on the WMR site that there is a thing called "Refund Trace" but found no useful additional info on irs.gov. ?
So is this a joke? I mean there's no phone # except the one that loops you through the Where's My ReF(*#@)und process. I get they're backlogged since Herr Trumpf graciously gutted the service part of the US IRS to make every US billionaire happy, but c'mon ... if they let me e-File, why can't they contact me in any way except snail mail?? There has to be some way to uproot this turnip!
